Hotel Michael, named after Michael Graves, is 470-room boutique hotel and a tribute to the firm’s broad design repertoire. The Michael Graves brand, through its hallmark “design for all” attitude, is known worldwide for creating lifestyle experiences that are gracious, humanistic, accessible and convivial. Hotel Michael is fully outfitted with Graves furniture and furnishings, including artwork in the public spaces and guestrooms that he created for the hotel, and an original typeface for the signage and graphics. The smartly designed guestrooms feel balanced and calm; they feature carpets made from Graves drawings and honey maple millwork. The Michael Graves Gallery retail shop is filled with Graves products, including many exclusive to Resorts World. MGA also designed the Italian restaurant Palio, inspired by the colorful banners of the famous annual horse race in Siena, and the chic Sky Bar at the top of the building, under the iconic undulating roofs of the building where “architecture meets the sky.”
