
EVENT INFORMATION:
The ‘Open Studio Series’ of events sponsored by the AIA-NJ offer a great opportunity to network with industry peers and focus on the practice of architecture through storytelling. The focus of the evening will be a presentation by Kevin King of MGA&D on adaptive reuse. He will highlight PS 343 The Peck Slip School, a conversion of a 1950’s US Postal Service Station located within Manhattan’s South Street Seaport historic district to a state-of-the art public school and community hub.

Architectural Designer
Kevin King joined MGA&D full time as an Architectural Designer in 2018, after interning for two prior summers. He brings with him a demonstrated interest in Historic Preservation, Adaptive Reuse, and responsible development strategies, which he puts into practice as a Steering Committee Member of the Young Friends of the Preservation Alliance in Philadelphia.
