Renovation, New Construction Zahlco Development

Zahlco Development hired the design team for the design of a 54-unit mixed-use residential project at 715-729 W. Pratt Street in the historic Ridgely’s Delight neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. The project site, includes a row of 3 adjacent buildings and an empty lot at the end of the row.

The new building, which will be known as 725 West Pratt, will have approximately 3,000 SF of ground floor retail space geared towards smaller café-and-boutique-type tenants. The historic structure will include the residential lobby and will lend its historic character to the design of apartment units and common areas throughout the complex.

The apartments will have high-end finishes and offer 15 different layouts; these will be mostly 1-bedroom apartments with a few 2-bedroom units and studios. Tenant amenities will include a club room and fitness center with access to an outdoor green space, a rooftop deck with a view of the stadiums, and parking for 20 cars.
