Howard Community College – Health Science Building

New Construction Howard Community College

The design team provided architectural design for teaching skills laboratory and layout, interior building component design, BIM support and related construction documents for Howard Community College’s first LEED Gold Certified project.

The building accommodates the growing nursing and allied health programs. As such, it houses labs and simulation rooms for various studies and skillsets. The skills labs train paramedics, nurses, radiology technologists, dental hygienists, cardiovascular technologists, medical technologists and physical therapists. In addition to classrooms and study rooms, other spaces include departmental faculty and staff offices, and a one hundred fifty [150] seat tiered lecture hall.

The firm teamed with prime architect Ayers Saint Gross on this project.
