Restaurants at Walt Disney World Dolphin and Swan Hotels

Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Restaurants That Entertain

The Walt Disney World Dolphin and Swan Hotels are fanciful immersive themed environments consistent with Disney’s interest in “entertainment architecture.” In addition to designing the buildings and the hotel interiors – from the public spaces to the guestrooms — MGA&D designed 16 unique restaurants. Of those, the two-story Garden Grove at the Swan Hotel is a distinctive semi-attached rotunda from the outside and a trellised garden room on the interior. Palio is an Italian-themed restaurant that uses the colorful banners from Siena’s famous annual horse race of that name, along with Michael Graves paintings of imaginary Tuscan landscapes. Kimonos, a popular Karaoke bar with Japanese cuisine, is decorated with kimonos that Michael Graves purchased on one of his many trips to Japan.
