The NYC Seat Share program helps empower people with invisible disabilities to procure a seat on public transportation in an explicitly discreet manner.
Our graphic design team worked closely with Seat Share to create an emblem that signals a seat is available. The outcome was a universal scarf that Seat Share allies wear to show they have a seat available for someone in need.
Additionally, our graphic design team designed the logo for the NYC Seat Share program using forms and colors associated with the cities mass transportation systems.
The logo expresses the essence of sharing by the depiction of two overlapping subway seats. The double lined font was created to mimic the railways and a lively brushstroke was chosen to represent the uniqueness of the city.
